Krista Macgillivray

Krista Macgillivray

President

Krista considers herself blessed to be able to combine her two passions in her career, business and art. With a background in business, it was a perfect pairing. Her family began their autism journey in 2008, after her son was diagnosed with severe autism at the age of two at a private centre in Ontario. It was advantageous to have had some psychology courses in university years before…not knowing then how important applied behaviour analysis (ABA) would play such an critical role in her family life. After several years of intensive ABA for her son, much learning and dedication, it was important to Krista to give back to the Autism Society of PEI for the incredible help her family received over the years. She will be forever grateful to the society, it is an honour for her to serve the autism community of PEI.
